Academics

I'm the youngest of 3, my siblings are both in their last year at Purdue University. My dad and brother were hockey players, and I continue to learn from them. My family is incredibly supportive of me. I've been lucky enough to have been coached by so many good and knowledgeable people, especially my dad in the early years. My brother is my biggest competitor; he's good at everything, just ask him. My sister is an excellent cook and nutritionist; she creates high calorie, healthy meals for me. My mom is a positive presence and is always a team favorite. I know my parents have sacrificed for me but will never admit it. I have a great family.

My dream would be to play the game of hockey every day; my goal is to play Division I hockey. Although, I have not yet narrowed down a college major or future career, my academic interests include math, science, engineering and statistics. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. I revel in team-lead practices and would jump at the opportunity to coach a team someday. I'm excited for what the future brings and I'm thankful for the opportunities, coaches, teammates and people that work so hard to grow this game. Hockey will always remain a part of my life, and I couldn't be more grateful.
